Best of Horrified Press collection 2016

Horrified Press would like to formally announce something new for 2016.
On October 20th, 2016 we will be releasing our very first ‘Best of’ collection. This will be a definitive record of our journey together so far, with only the very best artwork and stories contained therein – those that excel beyond those you would find in the very best ‘big six’ compilations.
What the accepted authors and artists can expect:

1 x trade quality hardback copy of the book and a certificate to acknowledge their involvement.

What the overall winner for best artwork and tale can expect:

1 x trade quality hardback copy of the book and a certificate to acknowledge their involvement.
1 x physical trophy award – designed by one of our regular artists.
1 x $100 prize
Who can enter?

You can ask us to consider any story or artwork you have submitted and has been accepted to any Horrified Press collection. One story ONLY per writer and one artwork ONLY per artist.
Who will be the judging panel?

All editors for Horrified Press and its imprints will judge each entry and score them based on grammar, imagination, execution, overall entertainment value and contribution to the genre. A final score will then be generated, which will determine if your story moves up to the next round of the competition.
Each round will be documented and the results will be reported right here!
The final will be on August 1st and will involve an on-line vote to finalise the line-up (we want YOU to be involved in how good this book will be).

All authors and artists wishing to enter and be considered for this competition should message their interest, the work they wish to be considered and the book/magazine it first appeared in with us via the contact section on our website: www.horrifiedpress.com

Good luck!
